The Next Step in the Book Process

Hi all!

Well, just today, Kickstarter has released the funds for Badfish's campaign. That means that as soon as they hit my account, the manuscript will be sent to Create Space.

Create Space will take said manuscript and make it look like a book - a real live paged thing! They will send a copy (gallery) to me and I will edit it (check to see if there are mistakes) one final time.

They will also ask me to write a blurb for the back cover and help me design the actual cover.

Although this takes time, I think it would be safe to say that Badfish "should" be ready for distribution by the end of October.

Two years, people. Actually, over two years and countless weekends, evenings, etc. But it's finally done. Track 9, my second novel is finished. It is practically ready for publication. Create Space is currently making the final corrections (this week!) and then, it's go time. I want to thank all the folks who hopped on board the Kickstarter train with me. Thank You! Without your help and support, this would not have come to fruition. The plan is to take it (the new book as well as Badfish) to Printers Row Lit Fest in Chicago this June 10th (come and see me!) and have the "official roll-out" / book launch for it after that. So, if you're in the mood for some suspense/horror reading, you might want to get your hands on Track 9. It will, of course, be available on Amazon and as a Kindle e-book.
