Sue Rovens - Horror and Suspense Author

YES! Track Nine, my second novel, is finished. Actually, I JUST completed the epilogue last night and will be sending it to a few editors/beta readers this weekend. How exciting and groovy is THAT? I am planning on doing a Kickstarter for this one as well - sometime in 2017. It's pretty much the same length of Badfish (should come in around 200 pages), and I will be sending it through CreateSpace - much like the previous ones. Track Nine is a solid suspense story with a foothold in horror. The tone is darker than Badfish, but it is still very character-driven. I'll be working on an official blurb in the near future. In the meantime, keep an eyeball peeled for all things T9 (Track Nine).... Thanks! Sue

Hello! Well, the Princeton Author Fair was great! Thanks to those that made it out there :) I will post a few pictures from the event soon (don't have them on this computer...ah, technology), so check back in a few days. Also, I met some very groovy writers from all over the state. It was fun and a great experience. Planning on going again next year. The Grim Seer Society is still up on the internet, but no new posts have been downloaded at this time. I have written and submitted articles that are not currently up so I will keep you posted as to when his blog "re-animates" itself. Hello there! Just wanted to let everyone know that I've been working hard on the second novel, Track Nine. I am almost to the half way mark on the third revision. It's shaping up to be a pretty good story. Like Badfish, it will be a suspense story with a sprinkling of horror. It will also be about the same length as Badfish. What can I say? I don't write the epics. As for upcoming dates, I am projecting (and that's a stretch), that I can have the 3rd draft completed by the end of this year. Hopefully, sooner than that. What happens then? Well, then I go chapter by chapter and make any "serious" revisions. That's the fourth revision. The fifth revision is catching punctuation, spelling, name confusion....all the details. Then, it will be time for "the editor(s)".... others to look it over and make their commentary. So, as you can see, creating a book, even a short one, takes a loooong time. Especially if the writer works full-time. Mea...

I just wanted to let everyone know that my Twitter has been hacked. So, if you happen to wander over there or get ANYTHING from my SueRovens twitter account, please know that it is no longer under my control and that I have NOTHING to do with it. Unfortunately, even after trying to contact the Consumer Help Service at Twitter, nothing has been accomplished. I have tried to disconnect my account in a variety of ways (according to Twitter's rules), but it is not working. So, just a heads up about the poor technological help, the non-existent customer service, and that fact that I will no longer use Twitter in any capacity to represent myself or my work.
